Differential diagnosis– Translation from experts
to clinical practice
Differential diagnosis in imaging is one of the most important questions in echocardiography with great impact in clinical practice. This holds true in cardiomyopathies, valvular, congenital, hypertensive heart disease and heart failure. Specific treatments have become available, highlighting the importance in guiding towards the best therapeutic approach and follow-up. We will start with live dissection of a heart with correlation to echocardiography with guidelines and MRI to discuss normal anatomy, artefacts, measurements and normal variants.
This 2 day course will help cardiologists to refresh and gain knowledge to translate differential diagnosis from basics to advanced imaging and see several live imaging too.
