The BioMed interest group is a joint venture of GHGA, NFDI4BIOIMAGE, NFDI4Health, NFDI4Immuno and NFDI4Microbiota to advance biomedical data management across NFDI. The goal of this workshop is to identify and realize concrete outcomes that can be made visible externally, while also defining next steps for continued collaboration.
The workshop will consist of two parts:
1. Strategy Workshop (Dec 2–3, noon to noon)
This part will bring together the speakers and one additional representative per consortium to discuss the positioning of the BioMed interest group within the NFDI, its relationship to other units, and to define joint goals and activities.
2. Communication and Outreach Workshop (Dec 3–4, noon to afternoon)
This hands-on workshop will focus on compiling the activities of the individual consortia, and creating a collective website and materials to present them as an existing joint offering to our community. The workshop will be divided into four topics:
1. Training and Helpdesk
2. Website
3. Metadata
4. Services
