ZB MED negotiates and offers consortia throughout Germany. By negotiating consortia we enable scientists to access research-relevant literature under appropriate conditions. The offers are aimed at libraries, departmental research institutions as well as hospitals.
We are currently managing 18 ongoing consortia, including 3 Gold OA publication agreements, 7 Read & Publish agreements and 8 other licence offers, such as software and databases for hospitals and scientific institutions. A total of 543 participating institutions from Germany benefit from the negotiated products. We have compiled the financial savings for 2024 and 2025 and a forecast of the savings for 2026 in an overview.
