ZB MED is consistently focusing its library on providing digital and location-independent access to information and literature. In doing so, we are creating simple and modern access to academic literature and information for researchers, students, professionals and anyone with an interest in the life sciences.
At the heart of this services is the ZB MED Digital Library, which offers a wide range of literature and information resources that can be accessed anytime and from anywhere.

Order and receive literature
The entire ZB MED collection remains available to you. In addition to the digital literature and information resources, you will continue to have access to ZB MED’s print collections. You can conveniently order and receive specialist literature via our delivery and interlibrary loan services. This ensures that access to print specialist literature will continue to be guaranteed in the future.

Services for libraries and key stakeholders
ZB MED offers a range of services specifically designed for libraries, research institutions, hospitals and other partner organisations. These include interlibrary loan services as well as the negotiation of nationwide consortium licences.
Through consortium licences, ZB MED helps institutions obtain favourable licensing agreements by negotiating collectively, improving access to research-relevant literature, databases, software and Open Access publishing opportunities.
These services are aimed in particular at libraries, government research institutions and hospitals.

ZB MED collections at the ULB Bonn
The ZB MED collections at the University and State Library of Bonn (ULB Bonn) remain available for on-site use. Here you will find literature on nutrition, environmental and agricultural sciences, as well as facilities for working and conducting research within the library.
Borrowing and on-site use are subject to the regulations of the Bonn University and State Library (ULB Bonn).
