In order to protect individual health and to avoid further COVID-19 infections, ZB MED is currently closed for publicum traffic in Cologne.

We are at your disposal by e-mail.

The following regulations apply to our library in Cologne:

• No books can be borrowed or returned at the moment.
• Reminder fees will be suspended until further notice or the loan period will be extended by us.
• You can still order literature via the subito delivery service and your documents will be sent to your home address.
• Article orders via interlibrary loan are possible again. You will receive the copy of the article as a PDF download by mail. The electronic delivery is a temporary exception and will initially be valid until 31st May 2020.
• Library cards cannot be issued. You can request the renewal of library cards by e-mail. Please include a scan of your identity card and possibly your student card with your application.
• All digital services are available as usual. You can access our electronic media, such as e-books and e-journals as well as numerous databases in LIVIVO from the comfort of your own home.
• The InfoCenter will be happy to support you online and by phone at +49 (0)221 - 478 5685 with your literature research and questions about the services of ZB MED. However, on-site office hours at the Cologne office are currently suspended.
• We currently do not offer training and guided tours.
