In the future, a large part of our medical journal archive will be stored in our magazine at Ladestr. 2, 53639 Königswinter. The journal holdings located here include titles acquired by ZB MED up to and including publication year 2021.
These are the journals with the signatures:
- U, Se, Zs.B and Zs.A 6000 and higher until the year 2021.
- ZS.A 1-5999 until the year 1994.
The relocation of the periodical volumes from the Cologne location will begin on 06 October 2023, after which time the holdings will not be directly accessible for approximately 4-6 weeks.

How to reach via public transport
Arrival from Bonn main station
Take tram line 66 in the direction of Bad Honnef and get off at Königswinter Longenburg.
Arrival from Cologne main station
Take the train RE8 or RB27 in the direction of Koblenz Hbf and get off at Königswinter Bf.
Lending
In the future, the holdings at the Königswinter stacks location will be available for use throughout Germany via ZB MED's delivery services.
