On every 2nd Wednesday of the month, an online introduction to library use takes place at 14.00 hrs. Individuals and small groups can register for this free event individually by e-mail.

Accessible 24/7 - the interdisciplinary search engine for literature and information on medicine, public health, nutrition, environmental and agricultural sciences. Simultaneous search in more than 55 million records from over 70 subject databases: scientifically relevant information is bundled and available for free search under a uniform interface. If you find relevant media there, in many cases you can access them directly online or order them via our delivery services. You can also order media that you would like to borrow on site via LIVIVO.

- DBIS – Database Information System
DBIS lists databases available at ZB MED as well as databases freely available on the internet (bibliographies, full text databases, link collections). If you select the appropriate subject area, you will find an extensive range of databases with which you can research bibliographies and other sources. Within a subject database, you often have sophisticated options for formulating your research.

- Digital Collections
Here you can find digitised media from the subject areas of ZB MED free of charge. You can search them by keyword and download them as pdf files. Primarily copyright-free holdings up to around 1920 are digitised. If copyrightable, we also digitise current material.
