Strengthening the resilience and independence of the life sciences research infrastructure in Europe is of central importance given the dependence on US-based information services. ZB MED – Information Centre for Life Sciences is therefore planning to develop an open, reliable and sustainable alternative to the PubMed database. The alternative database will not only provide the content currently available in PubMed, but also create a technical and organisational basis for continuous expansion with new publications.

In the online information event, those responsible at ZB MED will present the planned project and provide an update on the current status and the latest developments.
