ELN Finder: New service helps with the selection of a suitable electronic laboratory notebook

The market for electronic lab notebooks (ELN) is diverse and sometimes confusing. Keeping an overview is not easy for researchers and people involved in research data management. A powerful tool to support the selection of suitable software or services for one's own lab or the entire institution has not been available until now. Neither on a national nor on an international level was there a continuously maintained and as complete as possible overview containing detailed information on the individual products. This gap has now been closed by the ELN Finder web service from ZB MED - Information Centre for Life Sciences and the University and State Library (ULB) Darmstadt.
