Call for Presentations: 8th Workshop Retrodigitisation

Topic: Digitisation for eternity? – Data quality in practice

The workshop will take place on 19 and 20 March 2026 at the Berlin State Library – Haus Unter den Linden in Berlin. It is aimed at practitioners involved in retro-digitisation in libraries. The Retrodigitisation Workshop is being organised jointly by the three German central specialist libraries TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology, ZB MED – Information Centre for Life Sciences and ZBW – Leibniz Information Centre for Economics, as well as the Berlin State Library – Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation, in cooperation with NFDI4Culture.

The event offers a wide range of interesting presentations on the practice of retro-digitisation. For this, we need you and your submissions! We invite you to submit proposals for presentations on various aspects of the overarching theme ‘Digitisation for eternity? – Data quality in practice’ by 21 November 2025:
