The archiving of print holdings, especially due to the constantly growing number of periodical volumes, is certainly not a topic that has a prominent importance in daily business - as long as there is still a free shelf. At the same time, however, it is a constant time and above all financial challenge that accompanies every library.

ZB MED - Information Centre for Life Sciences therefore invites you to a (virtual) exchange on the topic of cooperative archiving of printed media on November 25th, 2022 from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m.

The aim of the event is to agree on the next steps to secure print archiving in the long term. These steps could be, for example, the founding of a working group and/or the targeted approach of responsible persons in national funding structures or the like.
