Bei Krebsleiden und chronischen Krankheiten ist die Hyperthermie mittlerweile mehr als nur ein Hoffnungsschimmer zur Prognoseverbesserung. Denn Hyperthermie kann Leben retten, verlängern und erheblich verbessern. Innovationen und neueste Technologien machen es möglich. Randomisierte Studien belegen es. Der Stellenwert dieser Therapie sollte viel höher sein und braucht unbedingt mehr Aufmerksamkeit und Unterstützung. Diesem Ziel dient auch das alljährliche Fachsymposium, das 2017 am 30. September in Berlin stattfindet.
