As part of our biannual meetings on renal denervation and neurohumoral stimulation we would like to announce TRENDS 2014.
The vivid discussions and presentations at our recent TREND Asia-Pacific meeting are testament to the rapidly evolving field of neurohumoral remodeling. In addition to transcatheter renal denervation, concepts of sympathetic nervous system manipulation involving, for example, baroreceptor reflex stimulation have recently been developed and are now available, hence the evolution of "TREND" into "TRENDS" ("S" stands for neurohumoral Stimulation). We will host TRENDS 2014 in Frankfurt/Darmstadt, Germany. In this CSI focus workshop, you will learn all you need to know about Transcatheter Renal Denervation and other new concepts including baroreceptor stimulation to treat severe arterial hypertension and other conditions associated with sympathetic overactivity.
