The LION Conference 2026 will take place on November 10-11, 2026, at the Fraunhofer IZI in Leipzig, Germany. The conference will focus on the latest developments in immune oncology and provide a forum for leading scientists, clinicians, and industry professionals to exchange ideas and discuss new findings in this exciting field.


In 2026 the main conference topics include:

• Immunotherapy for Hematological Diseases

• Immunotherapy for Solid Cancer

• Immunogenicity in tumors

• Cell sources beyond T-cell (e.g. iPS, macrophages, NK)

• Innovations in CAR-technology

• Innovations in clinical gene transfer (viral & non-viral)


Abstract submission will open in April 2026.


The LION Conference is organized by the Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology IZI and the University Hospital Leipzig.
