Conference detail

This course is aimed at senior residents, board-certified radiologists and fellows interested in high quality abdominal imaging. This intense one-day programme is articulated on imaging strategies for liver, pancreas and small bowel pathologies, with emphasis in technical strategies and reporting guidelines. Latest cross-sectional imaging techniques will be discussed regarding lesion detection, characterisation, staging and follow-up with radiological-pathological correlation. Renowned European lecturers will ensure a high teaching quality programme, hybrid combining lectures and workshops, allowing for interactive case discussions. The course takes place one day after the National Meeting of Residents, where young physicians representing their respoective schools present clinical-radiological cases of interest. These cases are discussed together with their fellow residents under the coordination of experts.
