The course is aimed at attendees from Brazil, in particular last year
residents, fellows in abdominal imaging and certified general radiologists or specialists in abdominal imaging. The main focus is on the value of CT and MRI in assessing abdominal disorders with a comprehensive coverage of most recent technological advances and applications.


 


Learning objectives
• to learn about future developments and prospects in abdominal imaging
• to refresh knowledge of cross-sectional imaging findings of neoplastic and non-neoplastic conditions in abdominal organs
• to understand important concepts involving clinical applications of CT and MR and diseases of the liver, small bowel, rectum and pancreas
• to get familiar with the most up-to-date abdominal imaging techniques including CT colonography
