Dear colleagues,
it is with great honour and pleasure that we - the President of the German Pharmaceutical Society (DPhG) and the Congress Chairman - invite you to Heidelberg, Germany, to attend our annual DPhG meeting starting this year earlier than usual at the beginning of September. The meeting is cosponsored by one of our most important partners, the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan (PSJ).
The focus of this year’s meeting is „Pharmaceutical research: From basic research to medical applications“. A broad range of sessions for oral and poster presentations will cover important aspects of current pharmaceutical research.
We would like to welcome you and your co-workers in Heidelberg, the city of sciences with a unique romantic flair. A particularly important part of the meeting will be the interaction of younger scientists with other attendees. In guided poster sessions PhD students will present and discuss their work. For excellent young postdocs and group leaders we will have special sessions to give them the opportunity of sharing their research results.
We are looking forward to a stimulating and successful conference with intensive scientific exchange and fruitful discussions in Heidelberg!

The Congress will take place at Heidelberg University‘s Campus for natural and medical sciences, Im Neuenheimer Feld (INF), Chemistry Lecture Hall (Building INF-252), 69120 Heidelberg
The “Bürgersymposium (Geschichte der Pharmazie in Heidelberg)“ will take place in the center of Heidelberg.
Conference dinner will take place at Schlosshotel Molkenkur.
