Die Akademie für Kinderchirurgie richtet sich insbesondere an Assistenzärztinnen und Assistenzärzte und verbindet Weiterbildung mit dem Aufbau internationaler Kooperationen. Inhaltliche Schwerpunkte sind Erkrankungen an Kopf, Hals und Mediastinum, u. a. Hydrozephalus, Kraniosynostosen, Schilddrüsenchirurgie sowie minimal-invasive Eingriffe an Ösophagus und Lunge, insbesondere bei Neugeborenen.
