Der Kongress widmet sich aktuellen Entwicklungen und Herausforderungen im deutschen Gesundheitswesen und insbesondere der Krankenhausversorgung. Im Mittelpunkt stehen die Krankenhausreform, neue Versorgungsmodelle wie Hybrid-DRGs und Ambulantisierung, die Weiterbildung im Krankenhaus sowie aktuelle gesundheitspolitische und medizinische Themen. Ergänzt wird das Programm durch Vorträge, Diskussionsrunden und aktuelle Berichte aus verschiedenen chirurgischen Arbeitsgemeinschaften.
