Auch Gutes kann noch besser werden und muss sich neuen Herausforderungen stellen. Dies ist Thema und Programm der 18. Jahrestagung der DGNS. Optimierung in der Logistik und Labordiagnostik muss angestrebt werden: mögliche Einflüsse von Medikamenteneinnahme bei Mutter und Kind, Abnahmezeitpunkt und Frühge- burtlichkeit werden im Rahmen eines Laborworkshops diskutiert. Neue innovative methodische Ansätze und Stufendiagnostik sind Themen dieser Tagung. Neue technische Entwicklungen erlauben eine Erweiterung des Screeningspektrums. Die Möglichkeiten des Screenings auf Immundefekte werden im Rahmen dieser Tagung ausgelotet.
