ZB MED carries out the applied research required to achieve this.

BIÖG Key Concepts

Publishing key concepts in health promotion and prevention as a living handbook on PUBLISSO

Leitbegriffe der Gesundheitsförderung und Prävention provides an extensive German online glossary of the concepts, strategies and methods underpinning health promotion and prevention. Regularly expanded and updated by the German Federal Institute of Public Health (BIÖG), the glossary is tailored for professionals, students and researchers involved in planning and implementing health promotion initiatives whether within public health departments, health insurance schemes or professional associations.

This project will advance open access to knowledge by migrating the glossary from the BIÖG website to PUBLISSO as a ‘living handbook’. This move guarantees permanent discoverability via DOI assignment while enabling seamless updates, content expansion and deeper integration with other resources.
