Profile
Miriam Albers (born 1980) studied Psychology and Library Science. Afterwards she worked at the Frauenhofer Institut’s infromation service developing strategic projects. She also worked as a lecture for Institute for Information Science at the Technical University of Cologne in sectors like human resource management, project management, electronic publishing or empirical methods. She graduated her PhD cooperative at Technical University of Cologne and Humboldt University on the subject of “Journal management at academic libraries and the implication of the open access initiative”.
At the moment, she works on an innovative project dealing with the opportunity of using bibliometric methods for user studies and the design of new library services.
