Profile
Mareike Wohltmann attended Kiel University from 2013 to 2016, where she completed her Bachelor's degree in Ökotrophologie (“Ecotrophology”), a comprehensive scientific discipline that integrates nutritional science, food science, household management and economics. She went on to obtain a Master's in Public Health at Fulda University of Applied Sciences (2017-2020) before rounding off her credentials with a Master's in Psychology from Maastricht University (2022-2023). Throughout her academic journey, Mareike gained extensive experience in research data collection, analysis and management beyond the university setting. As a research assistant, she contributed to the NAKO Health Study by supporting data collection efforts. She also served as a visiting scientist at the Leibniz Institute for Prevention Research and Epidemiology (BIPS) in Bremen and was involved in research monitoring at GIZ in Berlin. From 2021 to 2023, Mareike held the position of consultant and trainer at Stimulus-Consulting GmbH in Kiel. Subsequently, she resumed her research career and now works at ZB MED, where she focuses on sharing expertise and skills in research data management.
