The course is aimed at last year residents and general radiologists who want to update their knowledge on technological improvements, on the role of contrast enhancement and on state-of-the-art applications in day-to-day practice of US.

Learning objectives
• to present the most significant advances in the various fields of
diagnostic ultrasound
• to learn the appropriate protocols and settings for qualitative and quantitative CEUS
• to detail the clinical use of CEUS in the evaluation of macro- and microvasculature in various organs
• to know the best indications for CEUS for the main hepatic, splenic, pancreatic, renal and vascular diseases
• to learn how to use CEUS for the immediate assessment of ablations, during the follow-up of chemotherapy and intraoperatively
