Einleitend wird in die Besonderheiten traumatischen Erlebens eingeführt (Elemente der Psychotraumatologie). Daraus werden besondere Aspekte für Tumorpatienten abgeleitet und spezifische Beratungskontexte und behandlungstechnische Ansätze (Elemente aus Traumatherapie und Nachbargebieten) vorgestellt. Anhand von Fallvignetten der Teilnehmer wer-den diese diskutiert und in Übungen trainiert. Die Übertragung in die psychoonkologische Praxis wird im Vordergrund stehen.
