Mit dem Schwerpunktthema „Von der Krise lernen“ findet vom 17. bis

20. April 2021 der 127. Internistenkongress erstmals vollständig digital statt. Damit trägt das Kongressteam sowohl thematisch als auch organisatorisch dem derzeit prägendsten Ereignis in Medizin und Gesellschaft - der Corona-Pandemie - Rechnung. Der jährliche Kongress der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Innere Medizin gehört zu den größten Fachkongressen in Deutschland, bei dem sich mehr als 8000 Wissenschaftlerinnen und Ärzte aller Versorgungsbereiche über sämtliche Aspekte internistischer Erkrankungen informieren und fortbilden. Präsident des 127. Internistenkongresses ist der aktuelle Vorsitzende der DGIM, Professor Dr. med. Sebastian Schellong aus Dresden.
