Die Tagungsleitung obliegt in 2011 zum ersten Mal dem neuen Chefarzt der Klinik für Orthopädie, Unfall- und Handchirurgie am Sophien- und Hufeland-Klinikum Weimar, Herrn PD. Dr. med. Olaf Bach.


Die Schwerpunkte unter dem Hauptthema Osteoporose im Alltag des Unfallchirurgen und Orthopäden lauten wie folgt:


- Frakturbehandlung bei Osteoporose

- Endoprothetik bei Osteoporose

- Die osteoporotische Wirbelsäule

- Prophylaxe der Osteoporotischen Fraktur


Wir erwarten bei der Veranstaltung bis zu 200 Teilnehmer aus den Bereichen der Unfall- und Wiederherstellungschirurgie, Orthopädie, Endoprothetik sowie der Plastischen Chirurgie.
