Promoting unrestricted access to scientific literature
The ZB MED supports the Directory of Open Access Journals
Cologne, 25 October 2012 – The German National Library of Medicine (ZB MED) is a strong supporter of open access publishing, the practice of providing unrestricted access via the Internet to scholarly journal articles. The library therefore recently decided to pledge its support to the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), an online portal that lists and provides access to open access journals on the Internet.
