New cooperative partnership between ZB MED and Japan

The ZB MED cooperates in various ways with national and international institutions. Recent partner is the National Institute of Informatics in Tokio. A  symposium on the future of scholarly communication infrastructure in Germany and Japan took place in Tokio in March 2011. Ulrich Korwitz, director of the German National library of Medicine (ZB MED) along with Uwe Rosemann, director of TIB Hannover, agreed on future cooperation with Jun Adachi, director of the National Institute of Informatics in Japan.
